Eftia CTO speaks at Telestrategies
Joint presentation with KMC Telecom provides OSS Show attendees with insight into "Doing More with Less"

Eftia's Chief Technology Officer, Christopher Dean and Timothy Pasonski, Vice President of Corporate Systems at KMC Telecom, gave an informative and well-received presentation at OSS 2003, a Telestrategies Trade Show held in New Orleans, February 18th - 20th. The session drew one of the largest crowds at the show, and clearly demonstrated attendee interest in tangible ROI when choosing an OSS vendor.

Speaking on "Increasing Operational Efficiencies With OSS-Doing More With Less (SM)", the Dean/Pasonski joint presentation and Q&A session, gave Telestrategies attendees the opportunity to hear OSS issues, and the resulting resolutions, from the perspective of a fellow service provider - allowing them to get a concrete understanding of how to address similar concerns in their own back office.

In a 30-minute presentation Dean and Pasonski demonstrated the problems facing KMC when they came to Eftia, and how their goals to overcome these were accomplished with the Master.Scribe suite of products. KMC realized a six-fold increase in productivity and millions of dollars in cost savings. But the presentation also stressed the importance of developing a strong cooperative relationship between service provider and vendor. KMC and Eftia showed how the two organizations worked side-by-side, to overcome the obstacles of a detailed integration, allowing for a fruitful and successful implementations for both companies.

In follow up to the presentation, demonstration on KMC's EPS Polling system (offered at the Eftia booth) took attendees further into the value add that Eftia's Master.Scribe has enabled for KMC. And judging from the traffic through the Eftia booth, where attendees flocked to get a first hand look at what KMC has been able to accomplish, it became clear that service providers are certainly on the lookout for what Eftia has to offer.
