As CFO and EVP of Corporate Development, Mr. Clarke Herring is responsible for the day-to-day management of finances at Eftia. Mr. Herring brings to Eftia 15 years of investment banking experience with leading Canadian companies.

As a senior investment banker at J.P. Morgan & Co., Mr. Herring managed the firm's Canadian investment banking in the technology, consumer and industrial sectors. He oversaw financial issues, such as credit lending, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt and equity financing, and initial public offerings.

Prior to J.P. Morgan & Co., Mr. Herring was with ScotiaMcleod in the corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions division. His responsibilities included leading public and private financing, and advising on mergers and acquisitions for publicly traded Canadian companies in a wide range of industries.

Mr. Herring graduated with distinction and holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a Masters degree in philosophy from Cambridge University. When not stewarding the management of Eftia's finances, Clarke enjoys traveling and mountaineering.
