As Chairman, President and CEO, Mr. Stephen Parker is responsible for the day-to-day operations and future direction of Eftia's global businesses. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the communications and IT industry to Eftia.

Mr. Parker joined Eftia from IBM Corporation where he was the Chief Solutions Executive responsible for global telecommunications software asset solution businesses. Since 1997, Mr. Parker has created, transformed and reinvented many IBM telecom, Internet protocol (IP), and wireless software solutions into profitable businesses. Prior to IBM, Mr. Parker worked at AT&T Corporation, MCI WorldCom, GTE Corporation and Satellite Business Systems Corporation.

Mr. Parker has spoken at numerous conferences and authored articles about planning and implementing next-generation networks that provide strategic advantages. He was responsible for leading the network design, plan and implementation of one of the world's first digital exchange switching systems and creating the first all-digital, nation-wide network. Stephen is the principal patent author for Cellular Digital Packetized Data (wireless data) control and support systems.

Mr. Parker attended the University of Maryland, Michigan State and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. When not hard at work at Eftia, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, Stephen, Christopher and Kellie. He also enjoys jogging and is an avid computer and electronics hobbyist.
