Ottawa, Ontario - March 1,st 2003 - Eftia, a global leader in providing and deploying turnkey software solutions and extensible platforms, today announced Stephen Vaz as Country Manager for India. In this new position, Mr. Vaz will be responsible for Eftia's day-to-day operations in the Asia Pacific region. Driving business in this region is crucial to Eftia’s global communications expansion as Asia Pacific represents the world’s fastest growing telecom market. Already at work on a number of initiatives, Mr. Vaz is creating programs that will bring increased presence to Eftia in this area of the world.

With 27 plus years of experience in Telecommunications & Information Technology Mr. Vaz has honed his sales and marketing skills in India and overseas. During his tenure with premier telecom organizations, such as Tata Telecom and Global Telesystems, his contributions to the Telecom Industry in developing marketing strategies for products, services and solutions contributed significantly to their growth and profitability.
