EFTIA Appears in Canadian Pavilion at Supercomm India 2004

An audience of servicer providers, vendors, systems integrators, students and journalists listened while, Mr. Stephen Vaz, Country Manager for Eftia India, spoke on the need to have OSS become more business centric rather than technology driven. Speaking on Next Generation Networks - Asset Management as a revenue enabler, Mr. Vaz gave delegates insights into the importance of managing real-time services and network inventory and the impact it has on the revenue model of a service provider.

As part of the Canadian Pavilion, run by the Industry Canada Trade Promotion Council, Eftia enjoyed a visit from Canadian High Commissioner, Lucie Edwards. The Canadian Pavilion aimed to promote Canadian companies doing business in the telecom sectors of India and Ms. Edwards took a keen interest in learning more about Eftia's OSS product strategies in India and the Asia Pacific area.

The exhibition portion of the event attracted service provider, government carriers and government telecom bodies, all of whom were looking for solutions to improve the communications infrastructure and services in India. Eftia demonstrated both its Master.Scribe product and its newest offering, Ai²- application development framework - which was well received by trade show visitors who were impressed by its scalability and functionality.
