cyAxial Communications Chooses Eftia's Master.Scribe Suite (Ottawa, Canada - October 8, 2002) Eftia™, a leading provider of operational support system (OSS) solutions for wireless and wireline service providers today announced that cyAxial Communications, an Alaska-based next-generation digital service provider, has selected the complete Eftia Master.Scribe™ Suite as its OSS solution. cyAxial will use Master.Scribe to provision a range of broadband services, including high-speed Internet access, voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and digital cable over IP. Eftia will provide comprehensive order management, trouble management, telecom circuit and asset inventory management; and IP address and telephone number management. These flexible resource management solutions will scale with cyAxial as it expands its business beyond its initial Alaskan presence. cyAxial's broadband wireless network and last mile connectivity means that the company owns 100% of the resources required to provision services and is in not dependent on local exchange carriers for its business model.
