Advanced Reporting Facilities
Master.Scribe Maintenance can produce any number of standard and customized reports, generated on a scheduled or ad hoc basis. The module interfaces with third-party reporting tools, sending information to existing reporting applications.

Optional real-time visual metrics display immediate and current performance status data on operations, helping you better manage client service.

Integration
Like all modules in the Master.Scribe Suite, Master.Scribe Maintenance is fully integrated with other Eftia components. Using CORBA APIs, Master.Scribe Maintenance interfaces readily with diverse external systems, including network management systems, event filtering and correlation engines, customer care systems, other trouble management applications, paging systems, E-mail and scheduling software.

Master.Scribe Maintenance also:

• Uses circuit path and device information from Master.Scribe Inventory to identify services and clients affected by a network outage
  
• Accesses telephone number particulars from Master.Scribe Number Track, and service instances from Master.Scribe Service Order, creating a complete communications service environment.
  

Master.Scribe Maintenance readily integrates with external network management systems (NMS) including network surveillance and monitoring software. Benefits of the Master.Scribe Maintenance NMS interface include:

• A centralized console tool to view both customer and network issues
  
• Swift troubleshooting with simultaneous views of system-generated alarms and customer calls
  
• Customer-defined business rules that are easily applied to network events using open-system architecture
  
• Reports on NMS information generated within Master.Scribe Maintenance
  

Eftia's NMS integration component supports multiple functions including automatic and manual trouble-ticket creation, retrieval and display of NMS-related Master.Scribe Maintenance trouble tickets, as well as closure and clearing of alarms.
